Join us over the month of August 2020 as we organize, educate, and advocate to continue our successes! Each week in August the Florida Coalition will provide the education and resources to help you become engaged in the legislative process. We will help you make your voice heard and build from our mutual successes! These are 30 min quick Advocacy Huddles. The Fourth week of APRN Advocacy Month we will discuss the implications and benefits of autonomous practice for Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. We will present data and resources that demonstrate APRNs with autonomous practice have a history of safety with comparable outcomes to their physician colleagues. Finally, we will present methods to reach out to legislators to share this information.
